For a hotel at the very top of its industry, guest experience is paramount. At the “KRONE’ Hotel, achieving an exceptional flooring solution meant keeping with the lavish interior design aesthetic, but also ensuring high levels of comfort and wellbeing.
The family-run Hotel-Restaurant Krone, in idyllic Allgäu, required an acoustic flooring solution for the renovation of their hotel which compromises 15 bedrooms and a restaurant. The Renovation called for a high quality of flooring, that not only fitted the design-orientated interiors, but at the same time improved the acoustic characteristics of guest rooms, keeping the business at the top of industry standards.
Rustic Limed Wood from Spacia, with Amtico Acoustic backing was the solution the hotel’s managing director chose because it met those important requirements.
A relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere was the aim, and the benefits brought extra comfort and a reduction in sound transmission of 18dB made the right impact for a better guest experience.
Our new, high-quality deluxe and exquisite rooms are spread over three floors. We did not think a floor could be so quiet but the high-impact sound insulation of up to 18 dB has convinced us. The ease of care, the natural appearance and the acoustic properties were essential decision-making criteria. Our guests are just as enthusiastic as we are.
