Housed in one of Birmingham’s most iconic buildings with stunning views over the city, Selfridge’s latest eatery needed a distinctive and luxurious interior to match.
Renowned for their quirky and elegant stores, the in-house Selfridges team worked with local design firm Harrison to create a haven in this busy department store.
Amtico Signature Quill products in Sable, Kohl and Gesso have been used in a striking Herringbone pattern across the 220 sqm space. Amtico was chosen for its unique design qualities and performance benefits, including durability in high traffic areas and easy maintenance, which comes as standard across all ranges.
Andrew Kirk, Harrison’s lead designer on the project, commented, “Amtico was a product chosen by the in-house team as it has been tried and tested in other stores throughout the UK. With the time restraints we were under to complete the new-look restaurant, it was apparent that using Amtico meant a quick, easy and clean installation. Using a quality vinyl product from the Signature range allowed us to create a bespoke, opulent design which was perfect for the space.”
