The US fitness studio brand Xtend Barre, required distinctive, high quality and performance-led flooring for its new pilates studio in Marylebone High Street, London.
Refurbishing an unused office area on the lower ground floor of 49 Marylebone High Street, the studio owners harnessed the expertise of the Amtico sales team, as well as professional flooring contractors Hardcraft Flooring, to develop a premium design.
The final finish utilised planks of Chateau Oak from Amtico’s flagship Signature Collection, with the bold details of the wood product sitting proud amongst rich smoky tones which exude strength and sophistication. In the entrance and reception areas, carpet tiles from the Amtico Carpet Collection in the Hand Scraped - Carved colourway were installed to provide a vibrant and welcoming environment. Changes in pattern, texture and colour cue shift the functionality and attitude of the space – all while staying connected to the total design.
