The M Bar and Grill Restaurant in Twickenham is the newest London location for entrepreneurial restaurateur Martin Williams and his rapidly-expanding M Restaurant group. Amtico provided the perfect choice to create a bespoke floor in time for the opening.
The customised ‘M’ logo was seamlessly incorporated into the flooring, thanks to Amtico’s CAD expertise and advanced cutting capabilities.
Blending the four shades of Shibori Sencha, Shibori Jasmine, Cirrus Shadow and Ink Wash Wood, the flooring creates a strong contrast and an interesting pattern; while the piece-de-resistance lies in the entrance to the restaurant, where a custom-made ‘M’ logo is proudly displayed.

With a key emphasis on maintaining the elements of a traditional British pub, interior designer René Dekker was keen to replicate the style of an oak parquet style timber floor, while bringing it up-to-date with 21st Century technology. To achieve the required look, he chose four types of timber finish from Amtico’s Signature collection in an intricate Basket Weave design.
