With Amtico #everyspaceisdifferent

posted: August 2016

Every space is different

Your home and the space within it should be unique to you, reflecting your personality and taste. And it’s because every space is different that we want to bring you inspiration and ideas to show off your individual style, even in the most unlikely places in your home.

Amtico’s new Every Space Is Different campaign is currently featuring in some of your favourite home interest magazines. You can see us in the October issues of Elle Deco, House Beautiful, Country Living and House & Garden – plus, there’s a special insert with Homes & Gardens, Ideal Home and Living Etc. You can also follow our #everyspaceisdifferent campaign across all our social media channels for ideas and inspiration.

In this blog we’re bringing you three inspirational spaces that all work for very different reasons. There’s a trend for multi-functional living and making spaces work in a more creative way than ever before.

Hard-working spaces

We’re working in increasingly flexible ways, and it’s not always necessary to have a traditional office environment.  Create a space where thinking and living work harmoniously together and find a place where you feel comfortable and happy, as this will bring out your creative flair.

Using dark colours in a room doesn’t always make it appear smaller, especially when it’s set against this enduring Parquet laying pattern. It naturally leads you into a space that is inviting and welcoming. Clever bursts of colour such as the bright turquoise lamp are eye-catching and interesting and draw the eye to the other carefully placed items around the room.

Light relief

It goes without saying that a light interior palette will help to create a feeling of space and peace. A neutral palette like this will really show off the pieces within it. Umbra, shown in this bathroom scheme, is a new range that has been inspired by movement and shadow and this non-repeating pattern captures the beauty of sophisticated curves and organic layers.

White, bright and light, the trend for Scandi-style is always appealing. It focuses on clean lines, whites and greys and looks cool, calm and contemporary in urban and modern settings. Consider cool wooden flooring options such as Shore Oak and Pearl Wash Wood to bring this Nordic style home.

Practically stylish

When planning your space think about how to open it up with the clever use of flooring and consider how spaces flow from one to the other. This is where the flexibility of Amtico Signature laying patterns will help to create something truly unique.

In this appealing hall space, the woven laying pattern has a structured and symmetrical pattern that is a clever take on the geometric trend. It creates an interesting flow that is perfectly suited to a large space. This is a stylish space that offers practicality and reveals so much personality and character in the décor.
