In this year of all years, it’s no surprise that many of us are more germ-conscious than ever. And as well as our personal behaviour, more and more of us are putting safety, security and good hygiene at the top of our priority lists when it comes to decorating our homes.
It’s for this reason that we think you’ll love our latest development: the addition of antimicrobial technology to almost all of the products in our Form Collection*.
So how does it work? Well, our Form range is made on-site in our factory in Coventry, and recent research and development from our team has resulted in the implementation of ionic silver across our range of compatible Form products. The process harnesses the natural antimicrobial properties of this material – which has been used for many years to protect against germs – and builds it right into our range of LVT flooring, to protect against the replication and respiration of potentially harmful bacteria.
But don’t just take our word for it. Independent testing of the range has demonstrated an incredible 99.99% reduction in bacteria over 24 hours. What’s more, wear and tear on your LVT flooring won’t affect the antimicrobial properties. Our accelerated ageing tests have shown the ionic silver’s capability is just as effective after 10 years. Even cleaning with harsh chemicals like bleach, alcohol and MEK will not remove this impressive inbuilt protection.
