At Home with Frankie Bridge and Amtico
Fresh from updating the interiors of her family home, TV personality, singer, podcast host and mum of two, Frankie Bridge wanted flooring that could bring warmth, light, and longevity to her space. With young children, two dogs, and a busy household, nothing less than durable and beautiful would do.
Designing a Calm and Stylish Family Home with Amtico Flooring
As part of her design overhaul, Frankie set out to bring a sense of calm and natural ease to the home, something that worked for everyday family life, but still felt considered and stylish. After trying real wood in the past and seeing how easily it scratched and stained, Frankie was looking for a floor that could withstand the day-to-day without the stress. “We’ve now used Amtico twice. It’s much more hard wearing and durable, especially with the kids and dogs in the house,” she says.

Why Frankie Bridge Chose Otta Oak from the Amtico Form Collection
Frankie wanted the home to feel more open and effortlessly welcoming. “I really wanted the floor to lift and lighten the house, without making it feel cold, and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved,” she adds.
She opted for Otta Oak from the Amtico Form collection, a softly textured, natural wood-effect floor in a light oak tone. Laid in a stripwood pattern, its warm, honey-toned grain and distinctive texture work seamlessly with Frankie’s neutral decor, bringing a timeless, grounded feel to the space. The floor was installed throughout the open-plan downstairs area, tying together the kitchen, dining, and living zones with a consistent, cohesive look.
“I wanted to pare everything back and keep things simple and classic,” Frankie explains. “Otta Oak was the perfect colour and texture to create the look we wanted.” With soft furnishings in cream and white, the flooring grounds the space while tying together light wood furniture and tactile, neutral accessories.

A Lasting Transformation with Amtico Form Flooring
When it came to flooring, the decision was easy. “We only ordered three free samples, and Otta Oak really stood out instantly,” says Frankie. “It had all the warmth and light that we wanted.”
Once installed, the difference was immediate. “The transformation it’s had on our home is like night and day,” she shared on Instagram. “It’s so much brighter and warmer, making it more inviting for everyone.”
Now installed throughout the downstairs, the floor has made a lasting impact. “It’s completely transformed the feeling of the space. It’s airy, natural and serene… and classic yet contemporary.”
