A dining room is one of the most flexible areas of the home, whether it’s an open-plan kitchen-diner or a separate space. It's where family meal times take place, where guests gather for midweek suppers or a weekend catch-up. It's a warm and inviting space for family and friends to dine, relax and entertain. A dining room is also great for parties and special occasions as well as working from home and giving children a quiet spot to do homework. It’s because of this multifunctionality that a hard-working dining room needs hardwearing and durable flooring options.
Selecting the best flooring for your dining room means choosing a design, style, pattern, and colour to complement or contrast with your décor as well as ensuring it is functional and practical. Amtico’s Luxury Vinyl Tile has so many benefits that make it the perfect option for any dining room.

It’s also compatible with underfloor heating up to 27˚C, eliminating cold spots that are often associated with dining rooms and kitchens. What’s more, LVT is water, stain, and scratch resistant so it can easily cope with food and drink spills, dropped plates and cutlery, busy family life, pets and more. With the look of wood, stone or parquet flooring without the maintenance or price tag to match, LVT comes in classic and contemporary designs to complement every interior.
As well as being ultra-practical, dining room flooring can also play a huge part in the overall look and feel of your home. Amtico’s LVT comes in a wide range of wood and stone effects with nicely natural tones for an uplifting look, deeply dramatic hues for a cosy feel and statement styles for eye-catching impact. In a separate dining room, choose contrasting flooring to make this area stand out. For open-plan schemes, use different LVT options to create zoned areas for dining, cooking and relaxing. This can easily be achieved by your choice of laying patterns or a complementary design with a distinctive colour or print. You can also create a rug and border effect with contrasting colours and styles.
With Amtico LVT you’re not limited to one design in one space. The only limit is your imagination.
