Even if you’ve got the best intentions, spillages and wear and tear are simply par for the course if you’ve got LVT flooring in your home. And, while Amtico LVT could hardly be easier to maintain, a little bit of upkeep is still required to keep your floor looking as beautiful as the day it was installed.
Luckily, our cleaning and maintenance products have you covered. From Maintainer to Spillage Remover and Dressing, they’ll keep new Amtico floors properly maintained with a minimum of fuss – and will work wonders for existing flooring, too.
As its name suggests, The Amtico Floorcare Starter Kit is a one-stop shop for cleaning and maintaining the look of your Amtico Flooring. 500ml of Spillage Remover is perfect for removing even stubborn stains from liquids, while the Maintainer is all that’s needed to keep your flooring looking ship-shape for now and the years to come. The supplied Felt Pads will protect your flooring from the heartbreak of scratching or indentation if you need to move heavy furniture or appliances, and the Cleaning Pad’s specially designed surface is the perfect tool to apply the liquid solutions as and when you need them.

Using them could not be simpler. Regular sweeping with a soft brush is more than enough for the day-to-day, and to ensure your floor stays looking its best, the Maintainer can be used regularly as you would any other floor cleaner, by diluting with warm water according to the instructions and working in gentle S-shaped strokes until clean. For stains and scuffs, simply apply the Spillage Remover using the Cleaning Pad after wiping up the offending spillage.
Floors can also be stripped with Amtico Stripper, which will remove traces of adhesive after installation and also prepare the surface for dressing. Amtico Dressing provides protection for new floors. Apply it to your new Amtico LVT flooring 24 hours after installation and it’ll apply a protective layer that forms a barrier and makes cleaning your floor easier. Available in Matt or Satin finishes, depending on what suits your flooring, it will also help restore older floors to their former glory.
