Project: Dancing Scissors, Greece

Located in Athens’ Golden Hall, Dancing Scissors is a standout children’s hair salon and one of the most imaginative reference projects realised with Amtico flooring. Developed in collaboration with Amtico’s Greek business partner Weft Print.

The Dancing Scissors features a bespoke design with Glint Orb and Glint Void in Polkadot Tiles from Amtico Signature.

From charming details like vehicle-shaped salon chairs to a striking, bespoke floor design, every element contributes to the unique character of the salon.

Created by Amtico’s in-house CAD team, the bold black and white flooring creates the impression of walking on piano keys. Next to it, polkadot tiles bring both rhythm and visual structure while reinforcing the playful identity of the space.

A total of 75 m2 from the Amtico Signature collection was installed, using black and white bespoke designs. A closer look at the polkadot pattern reveals shimmering particles from the designs Glint Void and Glint Orb, adding a subtle sparkle to the floor.

This project is a true showcase of precision, creativity, and the limitless potential of custom LVT design. Dancing Scissors is a perfect example of how imaginative interiors, paired with high-performance materials, can create memorable spaces that delight both children and adults alike.
