Stone Effect Kitchen Floors

Natural stone tiles have long been used in kitchen areas for centuries and are a timeless choice for kitchen floors. Stone flooring can work with a wide range of interior styles. Light coloured stone effect vinyl like grey, white or sand colour is perfect for creating that rustic or traditional look and can be paired with all colour palettes to suit your tastes. Darker stone like slate, granite or black marble works very well in modern and/or minimalist settings, for a clean, bold industrial kitchen interior. Black and white checkerboard kitchen flooring brings a vibrant, retro feel and makes for a gorgeous design statement in your kitchen. Whatever your preferred décor, create the look of real stone flooring without the expense or maintenance worries with Amtico Stone Luxury Vinyl Tile.

Farmhouse Charm

FAQs

Amtico LVT is the ideal choice for busy kitchens. Waterproof, scratch and stain-resistant, LVT is also much easier to look after and maintain than its natural counterparts, as it simply requires a sweep and occasional mop to keep it looking fresh.

Yes! Our floors are designed to work with underfloor heating which means they won’t warp or crack like some natural floors do.

Your underfloor heating system will need to be installed and commissioned to ensure that it is working with no leaks, prior to your Amtico flooring installation. The heating system will need to be switched off at least 48 hours before and after installation.

Please note, for the benefit of your tiles and your toes, your underfloor heating temperature should not exceed 27˚c. For more information, see our installation guidelines document.

We’re so confident in Amtico products that we offer some of the longest warranties in the industry.

Our Signature collection offers ultimate peace of mind with a Lifetime warranty, guaranteed to the purchaser of the floor. For added assurance, when you sell your home the warranty can be transferred to the next owners, with a limit of 35 years from installation.

Amtico Form comes with a 30-year warranty, Spacia 25 years and Click Smart with a 20-year warranty. Please don’t forget to register your warranty when you purchase your floor.

We strongly recommend purchasing your floor through your nearest Amtico retailer, as our warranty is only valid on floors purchased through our network of recognised retailers.

We’re delighted you’re considering purchasing an Amtico floor! Good choice. To place an order, please contact your nearest Amtico retailer who will be happy to discuss your project in more detail and provide you with an accurate quotation.

Amtico LVT is very easy to clean, with little maintenance required. Simply sweep frequently, mop occasionally and, if needed, conduct a deeper clean annually.

For extra peace of mind, you can even use cleaning products containing bleach on Amtico flooring, as long as they are correctly diluted. (We suggest one-part bleach with at least ten parts of water.)

For best results, we recommend using Amtico Maintenance products, for a superior finish. Read our wear and care guide for further tips on keeping your floor as clean as a whistle

If you ask us, of course we're going to say LVT. However, we say that with good reason. Not only are Amtico's stone and wood designs unrivalled, our LVT is strong and durable, easy to look after, naturally soft and warm underfoot. Our floors also feature antimicrobial technology meaning any bacteria present will be reduced by 99.9% over 24 hours*. A perfect choice for kitchen floors.

This is totally up to you. It could look great. However, it's important to be mindful of the pros and cons of your flooring options. Hardwood flooring is much more difficult to maintain than LVT. They can be vulnerable to warping or cracking under moisture and heating, making leaks a potential problem. LVT is more forgiving for the comings and goings of family life, so if a plate is dropped you can rest assured that our flooring won't dent or mark like solid wood flooring might.

Every Amtico tile is engineered from heat-compressed layers for extreme resilience and superb strength. This makes it perfectly safe for large furniture and appliances like refrigerators to be installed on top of. However, we recommend lifting heavy items rather than dragging them, and using furniture or castor cups to help spread the load to avoid indentation.

LVT is a great option for kitchens. It's strong and durable, easy to clean and maintain, and water resistant so any spills or splashes in the kitchen will not affect the flooring. Muddy shoes and wet paws are easy to clean up after and if somehow your flooring gets damaged, each tile is easy to replace.
