Ashlands Manor is a luxurious care home located in Sale, Manchester, offering residential and specialist dementia care. This purpose-built, 57 bedroom ‘new generation’ facility has been expertly designed to meet all current Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements. It also provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care.
Internally, the attention to detail is impressive, with the specification and décor of Ashlands Manor carefully considered by an interior designer. By utilising Amtico’s luxury vinyl tiles, a lasting first impression of warmth and comfort is created, which feels homely rather than ‘clinical’. This is balanced with the flooring’s tough and resilient features that help form commercially practical spaces.

In the bedrooms, Amtico First in Dusky Walnut provides a warming environment for residents, with the floor’s sweeping grey linear grain offering beautiful and elegant spaces. The grey tones were also used as the creative inspiration for the bespoke curtain fabric, which was specifically designed for the bedrooms.
This approach has ensured the rooms have a consistent colour theme, which is proven to help residents with visual impairments. For the remainder of the property, including the day rooms, dining halls lounges and corridors, Exotic Walnut from the Amtico Spacia Woods collection provides a luxurious finish with flashes of soft vanilla and deep rich colours.
Overall, the Exotic Walnut flooring provides a smooth flow throughout the entire property and, with a high performance 0.55mm wear layer, the high traffic areas are well protected for years to come.
