Project: sit hütte, Switzerland

The newly designed sit hütte is Switzerland’s first boho ski hut, located in the heart of Arosa’s majestic mountain landscape. Breaking away from the classic ski hut style, designer Rebecca Morgenthaler from Mexicola Living chose playful wallpaper, vibrant colours, and a creative mix of patterns, offering an enchanting place of inspiration and cosiness.

The restaurant features Stucco Opaline, Encaustic Okra and Diffusion Aloe in a Victorian Star laying pattern from Amtico Décor collection.

The detailed floor design showcases the geometric Victorian Star laying pattern from the Amtico Décor collection. A unique feature of this flooring concept is the individual choice of colours. Soft Stucco Opaline forms a neutral canvas, beautifully complementing the two contrasting green shades: Encaustic Okra and Diffusion Aloe. These three tones, part of the Amtico Signature collection, sit within the Colour Edit palette - a selection of 25 colours designed for harmonious combinations. The high-contrast star pattern repeats across the surface, creating a show-stopping floor that demands attention.

Laying Pattern: Bespoke Victorian Star

Victorian Star is reminiscent of Victorian floor tiles and uses precision cutting techniques to create an intricate star pattern. It is available in two different sizes and six beautiful colour options, but can also be customised.
