Owned and managed by the University, 33 Colston Street is a six storey building in the centre of the city. Comprising 112 en-suite rooms with self-catering facilities, as well as shared social study spaces and lounges, all areas utilise Amtico LVT flooring to offer a superb blend of durability and eye-catching designs – complementing the modern and contemporary interior.

Amtico’s collections have been utilised throughout the building to maximise their individual strengths. Upon entering, Amtico Entryway matting offers a tough and resilient barrier to ensure grit and moisture is removed from occupants’ shoes. This seamlessly flows into the light and relaxed social spaces that feature a selection of Woods from the Spacia collection. Laid in an elegant Herringbone pattern, this impressive flooring design not only provides Colston Street with an elegant and specialised finish, but also adds an interesting focal point to the communal spaces.

Continuing through the building to the accommodation areas, every bedroom benefits from the durability and charming Wood designs of Amtico First, laid in a Stripwood pattern.

''We’ve worked with Amtico on a number of projects before, so were aware of the wide range of design options available, as well as how to best apply the different collections across specific areas of the building. We are especially pleased with the flooring in the social spaces, where we had more design scope, allowing us to create a striking space using a selection of Woods. The Signature flooring also ticked all of the boxes when it came to safety and performance in the kitchen areas, which was a key requirement for the University.''
