T-Level Teacher Training at Amtico
July 2024
It was a pleasure to host a T-Level teacher training day for the Education and Training Foundation at our headquarters in Coventry.

Teachers attended in preparation to deliver T-Level qualifications in UK schools in 2025 and had the opportunity to observe how we operate as a business, the successes and challenges the industry faces, and learn about Amtico directly from our people.
The teacher training included a deep dive into all aspects of the business from the start to finish of developing our LVT flooring.
We’d like to take the opportunity to give thanks to the Amtico team who delivered the agenda, as well as Ian Lloyd, our Operations Director and Shannon Macleod, our Business Coordinator for arranging and organising the visit. The agenda included:
The Design Story with Sam Murphy, Specials Manager
Sustainability with Chris Robinson-Hart, Sustainability Manager
Factory Tour with Colin Coleman, Production Manager
Laboratory Tour with Thomas Beard, R&D Manager and John Baggaley, Technical Specialist
A huge thank you to our attendees, including representatives from Barking and Dagenham College; East Kent College; Gateway Sixth Form College; Meadow Park School; The Brooke House Sixth Form College; The Lincoln College Group; University Academy Holbeach; Walsall Academy as well as an Employer Engagement Coordinator from the Education and Training Foundation.
We look forward to opening our doors in the future to continue to support education and training.
Championing Innovation
Our goal is to make flooring fit for the future by evolving our products and processes while utilising more sustainable raw materials.
