Fighting Climate Change

We know our operations, materials and supply chain all have an impact. That is why we are working to reduce carbon across the way we design, make and deliver our floors with a long-term goal to reach net zero by 2040.

Towards net zero and beyond

As a British manufacturer, we are taking practical steps to reduce our environmental impact, from the materials we use to the energy behind our operations.

We have already made progress across our sites, fleet and manufacturing processes. Now, we are continuing to build the data, systems and actions needed to support our long-term net zero ambition.

Our progress so far

Energy & Emissions

Zero

Our long-term ambition is to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040.

Energy & Emissions

100%

We continue to source 100% renewable electricity, backed by Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origins (REGO) certificates.

Energy & Emissions

ISO 50001

We’re working towards certification to the Energy Management Standard, ISO 50001, helping us strengthen the way we monitor and manage energy use.

Energy & Emissions

87%

87% of our fleet vehicles are now electric or hybrid, supported by 34 EV chargers across our sites.

Energy & Emissions

92%

Our sales of Amtico Bio products have increased by 92% from 2024-2025 reducing the impact on the environment.

Amtico Bio

Responsibility starts with the materials in our products.

With Amtico Bio, the PVC used in our flooring is made from renewable sources instead of fossil fuels, helping to reduce our carbon emissions without changing how the product looks or performs.

By improving the materials we use, we reduce the carbon impact of our flooring before it’s even installed, cutting embodied carbon by up to 28% while delivering the same quality and finish.

Our next steps in
Fighting Climate Change

In 2026, we will continue our Net Zero Strategy project, improve site sub-metering to better understand energy use, and review bio-attributed and bio-based raw material content to identify where further improvements can be made.
