Reducing Waste
We’re working to extend the life of materials, reduce waste across the flooring lifecycle, and together embed a circular approach across all areas of our business.
Responsibility doesn’t end when a floor is installed.
Waste is reduced at source through smarter design and manufacturing, but it does not stop there. From packaging and production to installation and end-of-life, we are working to keep materials in use for longer and reduce what is discarded.
It’s vital to us that our flooring is part of an ongoing lifecycle.
Our progress so far
Waste
13%
decrease in our total waste production in 2025.
Waste
ZERO
waste to landfill from manufacturing production.
Waste
85%
of total waste recycled, reused or repurposed.
Recycling
106 tonnes
collected through our Take Back scheme in 2025
Take Back Scheme
Taking responsibility
beyond installation.
Our Take Back scheme makes the best use of our flooring at the end of its life, keeping materials in use for longer.
This simple nationwide return scheme enables installation offcuts and used flooring to be returned, reused or recycled rather than discarded.
Take Back reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill and lowers reliance on new resources.
Our next steps in
Reducing Waste
We will continue to build on this work by increasing returned product through Take Back, investigating water efficiency opportunities and tracking food waste sent for bio-digestion.
