Amtico was a natural choice for the floors at The Headline in Leeds – a stunning 18-storey build-to-rent development by Grainger plc with architects The Harris Partnership. Situated on the old Yorkshire Post site, the property comprises 242 homes, as well as amenity and recreational spaces, designed by leading design practice 74.

The build-to-rent sector is a growth market and Grainger plc is leading the way in developing desirable and easy-to-live homes in popular urban areas like Wellington Place in Leeds. All 242 homes in this pioneering project feature Amtico Signature LVT flooring, with acoustic backing, in Worn Oak and York Oak, laid in Stripwood. The neutral wood tones and calming colours make them a perfect choice for residents – as well as being easy to clean and maintain.

The acoustic-backed planks help reduce noise transference between floors by up to 19dB – as well as providing an additional level of comfort underfoot – for residents in the multi-floor building. The apartments are meticulously designed to make them easy to live in and attractive, and the flooring works to bring all the design elements together and create a harmonious living space.
Amtico Signature was laid in a bespoke Basket Weave pattern - using Cornish Oak, Encaustic Tourmaline, Diffusion Chambray and Diffusion Verdigris.
